   Who cares about Oprah being with Obama in the White House for Christmas. So many in this country are unemployed, won’t have a Christmas.. can barely feed their families.

   OH? Tell me one good thing Obama has done in his adminstration thus far??? Besides bailing out the frelling banks.

   Unemployment at an all time high. Foreclosures are as well. The housing market sucks… oh yea, we love Obama… NOT!

   I use to love watching Oprah but she just lost all her creditability with me after watching this. She obviously doesn’t have a clue as to what’s going on with our economy. My god, with the money that woman has she could bail out us less fortunate americans. Merry Christmas oprah. *sarcasm off

    The bail out saved our asses from waiting in line for bread. As for that other stuff you fail to remember that came from the last eight years. Our President took over office from the worst president in the history of our country.

    As I watched Obama’s interview , at times I almost believed I was seeing the same guy who seemed so empathetic towards the general American public (you know, the hard working average Joe like you and me).
    Then he bragged about the pearl necklace he gave his wife – that’s when I saw that this guy is at least careless about the message he sends during difficult economic times.
    My opinion: he thinks he’s too much of a guy for having won the presidency and he seems to have forgotten the people.

    Oprah seems having a hard time with too much fortune. It’s time for her to let go of everything, every fortune. I think she doesn’t need more business like cable channel. she’s done enough and she’s reaching 60′s and I think she needs retirement.

    I think she has already left the show.
    I bet that half of the year of 2010 will be nothing but reruns.

    Old age for (older adults) life demands a
    cut back
    a readjustment
    a different approach to everything in life
    but one can still maintain a great functioning life

    People retire differently

    I am anxious to see what her new approach is
    and how she is settling as an older adult

    Likely, she’ll park most of her money in the bank for interest of her own self FIRST

    so many people in USA do not have jobs and no food and loosing or lost there homes. Oprah spread some goodness here in USA. Oprah take a good look at USA and do something to help people here hard working Americans you made you millions in USA or did you forget that? I think you forgot how you got your start !!!

    I can’t believe some of these comments. Yes the President is empathetic to every day Americans but he is also not a poor man and it is not surprising that he gave his wife a pearl necklace. I would say that the President’s empathy is the reason the jobless rate is still high. He needs to cut back on the unemployment benefits so people will really go look for work. When your unemployment check is higher that your normal wages there is no incentive to look.
