Using a castoff small skirt and some scissors, I’m going to turn it into an apron with a bib and ties! Of course, I’ll need my sewing machine in awhile!

You Have Very Good Ideas Nancy!! I Love the Kind of Aprons that Edith wore in “All In The Family” and from the 1950′s and Earlier Times too!!!! Very Neat!!!! ~Erin

what a great idea Nancy! I like to make things like this too. Last week I made a wool bench picker from found wood and $2 worth of nails, then a few nights ago I made myself a wool comb and hackle from the same found wood and nails, and i’m in the process of making an electric spinner for making yarn. I’ve taken the motor out of an older sewing machine and i’m still figuring out the design for the rest. Don’t you just love making something from nothing?

Can you share how you made your wool bench picker? I can’t afford to buy one, so I’d like to make one of my own. It would be a huge blessing. Thanks
