Just sharing a few items that were purchased yesterday. There was only four yard sales but I do believe I got me some great items! And another video of my husband’s irritating habits, LOL. MORE TIPS FOR PLANNING A YARD SALE: 1. Greet the people that come to your yard sale. Spark up a conversation. I can’t tell you the difference it can make. There has been MANY times I have NOT purchased anything at a yard sale (even though I wanted too) because of the rudeness I found from the person who was hosting the yard sale. 2. PRICE YOUR ITEMS. Yes, it is time consuming but you will definitely see A LOT more of your items this way than if you do not price, or state “make me an offer”. Try to display your items by categorizes. Christmas, children’s clothing, knick knacks, books etc. Do NOT place a mish mash of items in a box where the people have to ruffle through the items. People that go to yard sales don’t want to spend extra time going through boxes to find items. Also you will find that people will just give you an offer (which WILL be lower if you had them out in the open and priced). 3. You do not need to price every item if you have tables set up with like minded items . Have a sign that states: Items on this table, 50 cents a piece. Saves you time, and the people know the price! 4. Bake goods and coffee. Why not offer them. If your a baker, sell the items! Provide the coffee and sell it for 25 or 50 cents. People WILL buy!

    You are something else! What amazing finds. If I had the confidence that I could go to yard sales and find nice things that I would actually use and that had a good price, I just might try it. I have come home with too much junk and so far haven’t the desire to do that any more. *But*… with your videos and successes! I am starting to re-think this.

    Yet AGAIN another wonderful group of finds! I so enjoy your hauls and I LOVE that you manage to find such incredible deals!!! I went to a yard sale last Saturday and saw so many things that looked liked things you’ve shown before! haha! They were right up your alley :)

    told hubby for ya,,he laughed…It is fun yard saling. You DO have to be picky..there is junk and lousy yard sales. Sometimes we do the ‘drive by’..drive by a yard sale slow and realize,,’lousy’, so we keep on going, LOL.
